About AFI Data Portal

The ADP is a unique integrated global database of financial inclusion policies, regulations, and outcomes, built by policymakers for policymakers and the public.

Launched in 2016, today the ADP houses financial inclusion data from over 60 countries in the AFI network, sourced and reported directly by by AFI members.

For policymakers and regulators, the ADP is not only a valuable way to showcase national achievements in financial inclusion, but also an effective and efficient tool for benchmarking and analyzing progress on policy implementation.

As a repository of knowledge on the policy and regulatory status of financial inclusion initiatives, the ADP provides peer learning opportunities for national policymakers and regulators. As an open platform, it enhances AFI’s contribution to global knowledge on financial inclusion.

Who can share data?

Only designated individuals from AFI member institutions are nominated to share data via the ADP, to ensure accountability and data accuracy.
